Raffy of Palawan Philippines
Let me tell you something about Raffy.
He is our driver in KL who drove us all the way to Melaka, Malaysia.
Raffy is born in Palawan, Philippines who’s been living in KL for the past 13 years. He is 28 years old and works for Sam, his girlfriend’s dad.

At age 15 after graduating highschool, he took the courage to take cargo ships to sail him away from the Philippines to Malaysia. Just because he wanted to be away and be on his own. With only 2 Ringgit in his pocket. 🙄🤔😵😵😵😵
I know a bit crazy!
He stayed at other people’s hostels for awhile(i don’t have an idea how) and started working as a promoter in malls.
After living in the country for a long time, he doesn’t wanna go back to the Philippines. Invested in properties and relationships which makes a very inspiring story for me.

This is the first time I’m gonna write about a movie. I watched the movie SOUTHPAW where Jake Gyllenhal plays as a World boxing Champion who found himself in a messed up situation when his wife died in an accident and lost everything from his property, career, friends and family.
I highly recommend watching this movie as it tells us that not all successes are permanent when it is driven by our emotions or aggressiveness. True success comes when it is done with the heart and for the purpose of redemption.
We sometimes fail and often times as they say, when it rains it pours. If we let all those darkness, failure, hopelessness and emptiness control our lives. We become a mess, we get lost, we forget about all the other things that actually matters. The people who care for us, our family and friends, their support and love, our inner peace, our calmness, our true purpose. we hurt ourselves and we hurt the people around us. Change must be done when life gives us a second chance to do things right.
Great story, I cried at some parts of the movie because it reminded me of the times when I was feeling down and felt like I am of no value. Knowing and finding yourself first, everything else follows. Once you have yourself together, you are free to accept every challenge that life gives you. I wouldn’t like to use the word revenge, but rather self-redemption. A new revelation will appear right in front of you and a new hope will be given for all your dreams.

My mind is flying away
As i take the boat to Siargao
i see the clouds creatively forming in front of me

Nipa huts locatd at the bay
No network signal, power is out
Generator broke down
I got nothing to do but to embrace the silence

After four months, finally I am calm
Mindful paranoia slowly slipping away

Apo Hiking Society. To all those who love this 80’s Pinoy band might also love the ambiance and dishes that DEKADA offers.
The Filipino restaurant is just one of the chains of the then matinee idol Marvin Agustin. The Quaint and inviting interior of the restaurant might give you a hint of what to expect from their dishes.
I personally love their Beef Caldereta and Sinigang and of course the bottomless Iced Tea and Calamansi Juice.

The Little Prince- a book I have read more than ten years ago; brings me back to memories when I was young and how experiences have changed our life’s perspective. Reading this book again as an adult gives me a different interpretation about the metaphors of life.

I wanna write to you!
Yes you-Juan Tamad, Ikaw na palaging nakababad sa computer at walang ginawa kundi mag update ng status, manuod ng videos or maglaro ng clash of clans sa cellphone. Hindi ko alam kung saan ka ipinaglihi dahil yung puno na hinihintayan mong magbagsak ng bunga sa bunganga mo ay ilang beses na naglaglag ng bunga. Kung sampung dekada ka hihilata sa ilalim ng puno ay malamang naka ilang bukol ka nadin sa ulo.
Hindi ko din alam kung san ka nakakuha ng pambili ng cellphone, damit or pang-yosi, wala ka namang trabaho, malamang ay galing yan sa pinaglumaan at barya-barya ng mga kapatid at tatay mo. Hindi ko alam kung balak mo ba maging basurero or taga linis ng poso negro. Actually, Maiigi pa sila ginugustong kumita ng pera. Ikaw, mas gugustuhing humilata at maghintay ng grasya sa iyong kapatid o nanay na nagtatrabaho.
Bata palang ako pinaguusapan ka na sa eskwelahan, hindi ka ba naaapektuhan sa iyong paligid na ang tingin nila sa iyo ay walang kwenta at palamunin? Bata palang ako noon, Bente Sais na ako ngayon. Ngayon nakakabili nako ng sarili kong mga gamit. Ikaw? lahat bigay padin at lahat asa padin sa mga magulang? Aba! gusto ko sanang sabihin na hindi pa huli ang lahat pero wag mo naman hintayin na maging huling pagkakataon na yan at ubos na pasensya ng mga tao na tumutulong sa iyo.

Kung yayaman ka lang sana sa magharap sa computer, sana bilyonaryo kana. Kung masipag ka lang magtrabaho gaya ng kasipagan mo sa pag meet ng ka-grinder or ka-tinder mo. Siguro may sarili ka ng kumpanya. Lalab life ka pa wala ka na nga sariling pang-kain! akalain mo yun!
Alam mo naman na kaya mo eh.
Pero bakit wala kang pangarap? Dahil ba nakakakain ka padin at may maayos na tirahan kahit na hindi ka nagtatrabaho? Ang swerte mo naman… mas maswerte ka pa sa prinsipe ng Brunei. Kung lahat ng tao kagaya mo eh di sana maging Tamad nalang tayong lahat! Pero sana magbago kana, kasi pag nawala lahat ng tao sa paligid mo wala ka ng magagawa kundi magsikap para sa sarili mo. Kaya simulan mo na ngayon, kesa, lalo kang maghirap at wala ng tutulong sayo.
